However, its not merely the comforting, generous portions that diners enjoy, but the wonderful country atmosphere of the place Located in the old Royal Hotel, built in 1865, this rustic treasure boasts five open fireplaces designed to keep you toasty in the chill of the region's winter. And being an old pub, they offer diners a selection of fresh brewed beers on tap!
This complements head chef Kurt Neumann's zesty modern Australian seasonal menu that is unpretentious and hearty with a focus on regional producers. Interestingly, much of the produce comes directly from the kitchen garden located behind Grazing. From the kitchen window, the chef's delight in watching diners strolling around the garden before dinner or chatting with the chooks (for eggs only!).
Another standout is the impressive local wine list, with crisp Rieslings and divine Pinot Gris, to the internationally celebrated velvety smooth Shiraz Viognier.
